A.     Reading Comprehension & Vocabulary   (RCV)
1. Reading Comprehension:Students should be able to read a passage silently and closely and answer a set of objective questions.

2. Vocabulary :    * Students will be able to :
- Use the words to fill in the blanks in sentences
- Match the words with their synonyms
- Cross out the “ odd” word
- Identify and use multiple-meaning words
- Match the words with their opposites
    B.     Writing Skills
3. Grammar :    The following skills will be tested:
1.To form and use comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs.
2. Use adverbs to tell when, where, how, or to what extent.
3. Use adverbs that are intensifiers.
4. Use good and well correctly.
5. Use adverbs and identify the words they modify.
6. Identify and correct double negatives.
